Congratulations to Ms. Katherina Crowder on being selected as the October Teacher of the Month. Ms. Katherina teaches VPK at Gulf Coast Christian School here in Pinellas and she absolutely loves teaching. “Ms. Katherina is not your normal teacher,” Principal Linda Smock told us. “She continuously goes above and beyond. She is a true educator who truly cares about her children.”

“Katherina’s greatest virtue is her passion for others – especially for her students,” Mr. Thomas Harmon, Chairman of the Board told us. “Her love for them is genuine and they love her in return. You can’t fool kids.”

Katherina is having tremendous impact on the lives of his students, their families and others. Here is what some of them had to say about their favorite teacher:

Katherina has been a constant support to my family. Our son was diagnosed with a kidney disease at the end of last year. He was hospitalized and this was traumatic for all of us; however Katherina was there for both our son and us. We could not have asked for a better environment for my son to spend his Pre-K year.
