Congratulations to Mrs. Karrmayne King on being selected as the 2010 January Teacher of the Month. Karrmayne teaches and coaches at Keswick Christian School and has been doing so for the past twenty-five years.

Recently, prior to a Friday night filled with high school games, K.C.S. honored coach King for her years of coaching and for winning her 400th game at Keswick. Fans throughout the gymnasium were wearing shirts recognizing Coach King and her 400 wins. “I love what I am doing,” Coach King told us. “And to think that for 25 years, I have been able to do what I enjoy!”

Karrmayne is truly loved and appreciated by both her students and parents at Keswick. Here is a sampling of what they had to say about their favorite coach!

“Not only is she a great coach, but she is also a great listener. I appreciate her impact on my life so much and her influence is something I will never forget. I hope I can some day be half the coach she is.”
– Laura Grace (class of 2008)

“Coach you have been a friend and a positive Christian role model to me and to others. I can truly say, without the guidance and patience you have shown towards me, I would not be where I am today! Thank you and don’t stop at 400!”
– Janelle DeVaul (class of 2007)

“Thanks for your patience and enthusiasm with our team year after year; not to mention all the time and energy you devoted to us. I know it is because of you that I learned to love the game. You also brought life’s lessons to the court and because of that, you helped me be who I am now!”
– Sarah Hodupp (class of 2006)
