Kids in the Kitchen

Looking for a great appetizer or dish to take to a party or potluck? Cheese Balls are quite simple and easy to make ahead of time. They also tend to be very popular selections for all types of special and every day occasions. Our kids really enjoyed making this treat and we are sure yours will also.

Simple Cheese Ball

  • 1 8-oz package cream cheese
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 cup chopped, toasted pecans
  • Assorted crackers

  1. Mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and seasoned salt until thoroughly combined.
  2. Shape into a ball and roll in chopped pecans until covered.
  3. Refrigerate for at least one hour.
  4. Serve with crackers.
