Congratulations to Mrs. Linda Jordan on being selected as the February Teacher of the Month. Mrs. Jordan has devoted the past 29 years to teaching and she is currently in her sixth year of teaching fifth grade at Indian Rocks Christian School. “Teaching has been a dream of mine ever since I was a child,” Linda told us. “When I was a sophomore in high school I served as a Teacher’s Aide, and I knew at that time that I wanted to spend my life teaching and helping others.”

Not only does Mrs. Jordan have a deep passion for teaching but she also has a passion for science and the environment. While at IRCS Mrs. Jordan has developed a project with the Southwest Florida Water Management organization teaching students how to conserve and care for the use of water. She has also helped her class develop an amazing Hydroponic strawberry garden at the school.

Mrs. Jordan is truly loved and appreciated by both her students and parents at IRCS. Here is a sampling of what they had to say about their favorite teacher.
